When you contact us, request a Reel or submit content through our website, we may collect:

• information included in your message or other correspondence with us.

Uploaded video or audio may contain personal information such as your image, voice or other information you choose to include in the recording.

We may also process limited technical information required for website security, reliable delivery, file uploading and analytics.

Please only upload content that you are authorised to share with us.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and requests;

• review content and projects submitted to PlaceLume;

• produce, edit and deliver requested Reels and related content;

• find and prepare relevant project materials and supporting visuals;

• communicate with you about production, feedback and future services;

• operate, secure and improve our website and services;

• prevent misuse; and

• comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Uploaded video, audio and project materials are used for providing the requested service.

We do not publish or use your uploaded content in our portfolio, advertising or social media unless you separately agree to this.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use enquiry or uploaded-content information for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis or your consent where consent is required.

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because:

Our website is built and hosted using Framer.

We use Uploadcare to receive, store and deliver files uploaded through our website. Files uploaded through the PlaceLume submission form may therefore be processed and stored using Uploadcare infrastructure.

We may also use service providers that support email, cloud infrastructure, media production, file processing and other business operations where reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

These service providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

6. International processing

PLACELUME LTD is established in the United Kingdom, while our operations and some of our service providers may involve processing personal information in other countries.

This may include access to information from Israel and processing by cloud or technology providers operating outside the United Kingdom.

Where required by applicable data-protection law, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers of personal information.

7. How long we retain information

We normally retain enquiry and business correspondence for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an active client relationship, transaction, dispute or legal obligation.

Uploaded source video, audio and other production files are normally retained for up to 90 days after completion of the relevant Reel.

We may retain production files for longer where:

• they are still needed for ongoing work or revisions;

• you ask us to retain them;

• we have agreed to ongoing or recurring production with you; or

• retention is reasonably necessary for legal or operational reasons.

Files may be deleted earlier when they are no longer required.

Uploadcare allows stored files to be removed from its storage. Some technical or cached copies may remain temporarily as part of normal infrastructure and deletion processes.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal information;

• ask us to correct inaccurate information;

• request deletion of your information;

• restrict certain processing;

• object to certain processing;

• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or

• request a portable copy of certain information.

The website currently uses Framer’s built-in privacy-focused analytics.

Uploaded files are handled using third-party cloud infrastructure used to receive, store and deliver production materials.

However, no method of internet transmission, cloud storage or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
